About Us

We pride ourselves foremost on our attention to detail and excellent customer service. We get it done right.

James started off his apprenticeship in the domestic field re-wiring existing houses and renovation wiring. He then moved to commercial market, wiring office partition fit outs, shop fit outs and basic factory light and power maintenance work.

James expanded his knowledge and went on to do commercial fire, involving smoke detector wiring, VESDA (very early smoke alarms) system and EWES(early warning evacuation) systems in building sites throughout the city.

Continuing his development he went on to work as a breakdown electrician for electrical faults in factories/shops as well as being an electrical supervisor on major projects such as new built schools and shopping centres. Other aspects of that job incorporated football/soccer park lighting installations and repair as well as tennis court lighting installations and repair.

From there he moved onto factory maintenance becoming a maintenance electrician at a 24hr/7day paper mill factory responsible for 3 automated paper mills, converting lines, conveyors and warehouse pallet robot electrical breakdowns involving fault finding, repair and preventative electrical maintenance.

Still gaining as much experience in the Electrical world he then moved to another factory to be a part of an automated pallet fork lift re-wiring job removing all wiring and movable parts and then reinstalling new wiring and parts on 20 robot pallet trucks.

James continued to broaden his job knowledge and moved to WA where he worked as a maintenance electrician at a gold mine, experiencing breakdown work on crushing machines, gold milling machines, conveyor lines, water pumps etc. He expanded his experience there and became an instrumentation mechanic working on level/flow/density and weight gauges calibrating, breakdown and repair on instruments.

Having gained a huge amount of experience it was time to go out on his own so that he could spend more time with his family being close to home.

Testimonials

We needed to get Nepean Electrical Services in to fix up some dodgy work done in a house we’d just purchased. We were given info that we understood and were pleasantly surprised at the quote, came in well under the two other quotes we received and we can’t fault the work. We know who to call next time we need a top notch tradie!

Shelly and Ron Mornington

Very happy with the service provided by Jamie and his crew. Job was completed earlier than expected and came in just under the quote, can’t ask for better than that.

Graeme D

Early Sunday evening our power went out and Jamie from Nepean Electrical was around within 30 minutes. It turned out to be a simple fix and we were back up and running without a massive bill. Highly recommended.
